Who can apply
- Citizen of a Chevening-eligible country
- At least two years (2,800 hours) of work experience
- An undergraduate degree good enough for a UK master’s
- Three different one-year UK master’s course choices
- Return to your home country for two years after the award
Documents to prepare
- Passport or national ID
- University transcripts and degree certificates
- Two referee contacts
- English test report once requested
How to apply
- Check your country page for eligibility and the exact window
- Pick three eligible one-year UK master’s courses
- Write the four essays: leadership, networking, career plan, study plan
- Submit through the Chevening online system before the deadline
- If shortlisted, interview at the British embassy between February and April
- Hold an unconditional offer from one of your three choices by mid-July
